Shenley academy is more than just a new type of school. It represents a new approach to learning which is purposeful and achievement focused. Academies are leaders in innovation. The independent status of academies allows new styles of teaching and learning, supported by significant investment in ICT, which is already visible in Shenley's classrooms and via the on-line curriculum.
It is Shenley Academy's ambition to create a vibrant, happy and successful academy which delivers the very highest standards of education, nurtures each student’s talents and skills and plays a central role in meeting the needs of the community. The Academy's first priority will always be students’ welfare, whether this is monitoring and keeping students on track for success or ensuring they have the help they need to deal with personal or social issues.
Shenley Academy, as with all E-ACT academies, is a non-selective academy.
