Trent Valley
This new academy, with dual specialist status in Performing Arts and Technology, officially opened on September 1, 2008, having been successfully awarded accelerated status by the Department for Children Schools and Families. During their first year, they continued within their existing buildings before moving to magnificent purpose-designed premises in September 2009. This involved significant investment in new technologies and state of the art learning opportuntiies for students in all areas. In addition, the academy's new community theatre and outstanding sports facilities will not only benefit students but will increasingly be utilised by local residents.
