Delegate praise for the trust-wide CPD programme

Since its launch in September 2016 over 120 E-ACT staff have attended a course as part of the trust’s professional learning programme, and we are pleased to report that the feedback from attending delegates has been overwhelmingly positive.

We have so far run 13 courses this term, some in partnership with leading training providers like The Teaching Leaders and Future Leaders Trust, and others which have been delivered by our team of in-house expert regional system leaders.

We are delighted that delegates have commented on the ‘intimacy’ of the sessions as groups have been kept intentionally small, and the ‘opportunities to share experiences’ with E-ACT colleagues. One delegate described their course as ‘relevant, thought provoking [with] lots of tips and ideas.’ Most pleasingly 96% of delegates agree that the skills and knowledge gained by attending an E-ACT professional learning course will be useful in their work.

Whatever your role within E-ACT, we want everyone to keep on learning

We give every single one of our teachers three additional dedicated days to follow an individualised plan to build on practice through activities such as peer observations, visiting neighbouring schools or developing lesson planning skills.

On top of this every teacher participates in E-ACT’s professional learning programme in partnership with Teaching Leaders, Future Leaders and McKinsey leadership. Take a look at our CPD training programme brochure here.
