Principal of Leeds West Academy thanked by Prime Minister

THE Prime Minister, who recently visited the city of Leeds to speak with MPs, community heroes and local activists, took time out of his busy schedule to meet with Bramley Community Leaders who included Leeds West Academy Principal Annette Hall.

After a short speech made to the group, Gordon Brown personally thanked Annette Hall for her work at the new EACT Leeds West Academy, which opened in September 2009.

Principal Annette Hall said: “It is great that all our hard work at the academy is being recognised, and we are feeling very positive about the future.”

EACT is developing new academy facilities at the Bramley site in Leeds, with a new state of the art building scheduled to open in 2011.
