A News story by Ellena Schuster-Farrell 3 September 2018

We are delighted to start the new academic year with three new academies joining the trust. A warm welcome to the pupils and staff of Badock’s Wood E-ACT Academy, Bourne End E-ACT Academy and Royton and Crompton E-ACT Academy.

Located in Southmead, Bristol, Badock’s Wood E-ACT Primary Academy becomes the sixth academy to join our South West region. Headteacher Rebecca Harriman is an experienced member of the E-ACT family, having served as deputy headteacher at Greenfield E-ACT Academy.

Just a stone’s throw away from The E-ACT Burnham Park Academy, Bourne End E-ACT Academy has approximately 600 pupils from Year 7 to Year 13. The academy will be led by new Headteacher, Ryan Williams.

The latest addition to our North region is Royton and Crompton E-ACT Academy, a secondary academy led by Headteacher Neil Hutchinson. Based in Oldham, the academy is just a stone’s throw away from The Oldham Academy North.

We are very much looking forward to working with Badock’s Wood, Bourne End and Royton and Crompton over the coming months. We’ll soon be featuring interviews with the headteachers, pupils and staff of our new academies, so be sure to check back soon!
