1:1 Learning Support Assistant at Hareclive E-ACT Academy (Maternity Contract)

Salary: Scale Point 15 £17,972 FTE, Actual Salary £14,167.70

Employment Start Date: 10th June 2019

Contract: Maternity Contract, Term Time only plus one week

Location: Hareclive E-ACT Academy

Hours: 33.5 per week. 08:30-15:30 Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays. 08:30-16:30 Tuesdays

We are looking for an experienced 1:1 Learning Support Assistant be a part of our Academy, to cover maternity leave in support children in one of our Early Years Foundation Stage classes. Please note, we require applications to hold a LEVEL 3 certificate in order to be considered for the Early Years post.

Duties include:

  • Adhering tightly to all safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Small group work and intervention.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A fast and flexible thinker
  • An excellent communicator
  • Able to uphold the high expectations of the academy
  • Computer literate with experience of using email and behaviour recording systems.
  • An awareness of thrive approaches to support children with SEMH needs is an advantage
