About E-ACT

E-ACT multi-academy trust is responsible for 26 academies across the length and breadth of England. Our academies can collaborate and share ideas with one another in ways that schools may not be able to. Most importantly, we all feel part of something much bigger as our responsibilities go far beyond the four walls of a single academy, and extend to people and their communities across the country.

About the role & our ideal candidate

You will be working with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure the smooth administration in all areas of the employee life cycle within the national team, as well as working closely with our regional HR leads. Our national team include up to 30 talented individuals and are part of 2,000 employees the trust employs.

This is an excellent opportunity, and you must have the ability to work in a fast-moving environment to high levels of accuracy. Whilst experience in the education sector and particularly around safer recruitment is desirable, this isn’t essential. We are more interested in a candidate with strong communication skills, both written and verbal, an eye for detail and a positive, can-do attitude.

Experience of working with HR Information Systems, particularly Carval, would be advantageous. However, training will be provided for the successful candidate.

This is a great place to start your HR career and through our Apprenticeship Levy we are able to support the successful candidate on their CIPD learning journey.

Why work for us?

This is an exciting time to join an ambitious team and organisation. We offer the chance to work with amazing people and inspirational pupils, as well as sector-leading work-life balance arrangements, a professional training and development programme and a generous holiday entitlement.

How to apply

If you have any questions about the role, please contact Heather Rowe at HR.Team@E-ACT.org.uk. All enquiries will be dealt with in confidence.

Your application should outline how you meet the qualification and experience elements of the person specification.

Interviews are scheduled for w/c 30 July 2018.

E-ACT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults, and all appointments are subject to enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks and satisfactory references.  E-ACT is also committed to promoting equality, challenging discrimination and developing community cohesion.  We welcome applications from all sections of the community.
