We currently have a vacancy for a new member of staff to join our team of School Meals Supervisory Assistants (SMSAs) to look after our pupils during the lunch period ensuring that they enjoy safe and happy lunchtimes.

POST: School Meals Supervisory Assistant

START DATE: ASAP

LOCATION: Greenfield E-ACT Academy

HOURS: 8.75 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 1.75 hours per day)

CONTRACT: Permanent, Term Time only plus x1 week

SALARY: SP 1, Full Time Equivalent £17,364 (Actual Salary £3,575.33)

We wish to recruit a School Meals Supervisory Assistant who enjoys supporting and interacting with the pupils and to provide support during the lunchtime break to join our team at Greenfield E-ACT Academy.

Lunchtime is a really important part of the day, so we would like to appoint someone who is keen to make a difference in the pupils’ experience in school. The role will include supporting play activities on the playground as well as working with the team to offer a smooth and calm dining experience for our pupils. The post holder will patrol specified areas of the school, observe and report on the behaviour of pupils and look after their general welfare.

Full training for the post will be offered, and we would love to hear from you if you think you would be an ideal candidate for this role.
