The Crest Academy is a co-educational 11-18 Academy in North London. Our vision for the school is ‘Every student ready for University, every student a leader’.
Until recently operating as two separate single gender schools, The Crest Academy is now an inclusive co-educational school. Our £41 million pound campus, showcases world class technology and resources, including a state of the art music recording studio, practice rooms, 2 sports halls and a 4G all-weather football pitch.
At Crest, everything we do, is under pinned by our core values of:
- Pride and Professionalism
- Social Justice
- Empowerment and Accountability
The Crest Academy, ensures that all students understand and ‘live’ our values, taking responsibility for their own learning and future, by building essential character skills through our ‘Crest Character’ leadership programme. By the end of their educational journey with us we aim to ensure that ‘Every student is ready for University, every student a leader’.
Students benefit from a personalised curriculum and there are very high expectations of standards of behaviour and commitment. The academy has excellent relationships with Highgate School, a neighbouring independent school, and Brunel University, and uses these partnerships to embed excellent teaching and an expectation that students will continue their education at university.
Access to a comprehensive programme of careers advice, pastoral care, professional mentoring and personal, health and citizenship education complements students’ academic study.
